Surprisingly, hummus beans turn out to be no worse than the traditional version. Beans can be used in any color, but it seems to me that a white snack turns out to be the most beautiful. You can decorate it with herbs, seeds or spices.

Ingredients

  • Beans (dry) – 2 glasses
  • Sesame - 50 g
  • Olive oil - 3 tbsp.l .
  • Lemon juice - 1 tbsp.l .
  • Garlic - 3 clove
  • Ground black pepper - to taste
  • Salt - to taste

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Pre-soak the beans for 4-5 hours.

Change the water, bring to a boil and cook for an hour and a half. The beans should boil completely.

Dry sesame seeds in a dry frying pan for a couple of minutes.

Sesame seeds with olive oil and peeled garlic cloves are crushed in a blender.

Add the beans, ground pepper and a couple of spoonfuls of the cooled broth from the beans. Whisk everything well in a blender until smooth.

Season the finished hummus with salt and lemon juice.
